Julie Ann Otis is the Founder and Creative Director of Samana Coaching and Consulting. She received her Masters in Arts Administration from Boston University and her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Drama from Tufts University. Her consulting practice is built on 16 years of experience in not-for-profit management, vipassana and metta meditation practices, and body-mind integration work.
Julie Ann created Active Receptivity Coaching™ as a way to offer corporate and individual clients the benefits of multiple modalities in meditation, mindfulness practices, strategic planning, and somatic psychology. She has studied at the Focusing Institute, Spirit Rock Meditation Center, the Insight Meditation Society, and Dell'Arte International in Bali, Indonesia. She has spoken on panels for the Boston Center for the Arts and the Theatre Arts Group and regularly leads workshops and retreats in New England. Julie Ann is an Experienced Practitioner at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center and a Student Practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu.
